Is it just me or is twilight sucking the life out of vampire fiction? I just can't take any of it seriously anymore. Every time I think about any bloodsucking creature of the night these days, I think of the ridiculous tween fan base that the twilight series and any other vampire novel has and it disheartens me. Okay, if we're goign to compare tween vampire fiction, Darren Shan novels were infinity times better than what twilight could ever hope to be and it doesn't need to rely on love storys and brooding sparkly boys. Let's just leave the vampire to Bram Stoker yeah?
